She graduated from The Performing Arts high school in NYC where she majored in drama and honed her playwriting craft. Co-writing and starring in the school’s production of the original play “The Ghosts of Town Hall” which was performed on the actual Town Hall stage and received rave reviews.

 

She went on to attend the world renowned “Ensemble Theatre Company” in Eagles Mere Pennsylvania. She was 1 of 30 actors chosen to attend from around the world. The directors of the program were so impressed with Jenesis’s talent that she was chosen even after auditions were over. 

 

Jenesis later attended the New York Film Academy where she studied Screenwriting. In college she majored in Digital Music Production and graduated with Honors. 



WHO IS JENESIS?

Jenesis Scott is a multi-talented singer/writer/rapper/artist/actress/director  and philanthropist.

After graduating high school Jenesis began acting professionally. Appearing in independent films, commercials and music videos. Jenesis is also an accomplished writer having articles published in magazines, newsletters and poems published in several poetry compilations. In 2005 she founded the community based humanitarian grassroots organization "The Organization of The United Family" where they faciliated events that aided the homeless and underprivileged of New York City.

 

In 2013 she was the stage manager for the play "Rough Magic" that opened in Scotland at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to rave reviews. In 2014 she wrote, produced and directed the web series "100 Frogs" and continues to work in all mediums of art.
